Profile:
Prof.CAI Lidong, born in March 1969, Jilin Province, is Professor and Vice President of Jilin University, full-time researcher of National Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization and Director of the Research Center for Judicial Data Application of Jilin University. He also performs the duties as vice president of the Legal Education Research Association of the China Law Society and the vice president of the Network and Information Legal Research Association of the China Law Society. He is the Chair Professor of “Changbai Mountain Scholar Program” of 2014 and a member of “New Century Excellent Talents Supportive Program” of 2013. Professor CAI’s research primarily focuses on general theory of civil law, property law, company law, judicial theory and Law and Big Data. He has presided over a number of provincial and ministerial level research projects such as the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Major Project of the Humanities and Social Sciences Key Research Base of the Ministry of Education. He has published more than 60 articles on CSSCI and SSCI academic journals such as Social Sciences in China, China Legal Science and Chinese Journal of Law, two monographs and many other co-edited textbooks in these areas.
